2004–05 New Jersey Nets season : ウィキペディア英語版 | 2004–05 New Jersey Nets season
The 2004-05 NBA season was the Nets' 29th season in the NBA.〔(2004-05 New Jersey Nets )〕 The season is best remembered for the Nets making a move midseason, acquring All-Star Vince Carter from Tornoto. Carter would spend the next four seasons in New Jersey, making the All-Star team three more times. The new "big three" of Jason Kidd, Richard Jefferson, and new team captain Carter rarely played together as they missed significant time due to injuries. Despite a stellar season from Carter, the Nets only managed to play mediocre basketball all season, finishing with a disappointing 42-40 record, which earned them a playoff spot. In the first round, New Jersey faced the Miami Heat, led by Shaquille O'Neal and a young Dwyane Wade. The Nets were no match for the Heat as they would end the season with a four game sweep. ==Offseason==
